Parish Council meetings are normally held on the 4th Tuesday of the month in the Parish Hall commencing at 7.30pm with the exception of August and December when meetings are not held. Notices and agendas of the meeting are put on the notice boards at the Parish Hall and in Bakehouse Lane and on this website under 'Meetings'.
At the beginning of each meeting parishioners are welcome to raise any items of concern with the Councillors. The Clerk is Mrs Freda Morris who holds the CiLCA (Certificate in Local Council Administration) qualification and also 'Working with your Council' qualification. Freda lives in Stottesdon where she has been Clerk to the Stottesdon and Sidbury Parish Council since 1986. Freda has had connections with Chelmarsh all her life. Her grandfather, Mr Jack Price, was a Parish Councillor and Chairman of the Parish Council for many years and family members still live in the parish.
